1.Take the Drain Cover off and pull out clog :-
If possible take the drain cover off and
pull out the clog by using your hand. That is the easy and perfect way to unclog your drain.
2. Use a Hook:-
This is the best if you can't reach the
blockage by hand. Use this or make your on by using a clothe hanger.
3. Use a Plumber Snake :-
Push the snake down the drain until you
reach the clog. Turn the snake's handle
and bring it back up. Run water to taste the drain and verify that the clog is entirely removed.
4. Power boiling water down the drain:-
This can sometimes break down the soap or grease that is
holding the clog together and clear the blockage. It might not
work a lone if the blockage contains a lot of matted hair and
has built up over time. You can use this method together
with the below method.
5. Use Baking Soda and Vinegar:-
This is natural solution wont cause damage to plastic pipes.
After cleaning strainer or stopper, pour Hot water
direct into the drain, then Pour 1/4 cup of Baking Soda and
1 Cup of White Vinegar in the drain. Wait for 15-20 minutes, and then Pour again Hot water direct down the drain.
6. Use Chemicals:-
Using chemicals is normally a quick, easy and affordable method of unclog the drain. Most of Supermarkets and Hardware stores sell strong chemical cleaners designed to unblock drains.
7. Call a plumber:-
Call out a Plumber if you cant fix it by yourself.
